Description
Letter from John Hope to David Skene in which he states that he wishes to correspond with Skene concerning plants and asks whether anyone besides Sutherland and Sibbald have written about indigenous Scottish plants; he also asks for details of Skene's collecting activities; he asks if 'any of the great Morrison's relations' are still living in Aberdeen; he refers to first volume of the second edition of 'Species Plantarum' and the first two fascicles of the 'Flora Danica', 18 July 1763.
