Administrative History | William Anderson [known as 'Willie' or 'Wullie'] retired from the University of Aberdeen after forty-five years service, the latter twenty-seven of which were spent as a technician in the Anatomy Department. A retirement presentation took place at the Anatomy Museum on 29 June 1972, at which he received a watch inscribed 'from the Anatomy Staff, 1945 - 1972', a wallet, an early morning tea - maker, a mounted skull [at Willie's own request stipulating only that it "had to ha'e guid champers"] and a display album. |
