DescriptionLetter to Mr Robison from John Gordon, London, distressed that Mr Grant is to be turned out of the house he has only just occupied, ‘I can not conceive what infatuation has seized you all … you should remember that it is with the Parliament of Douay you have to do with and not with Mr Grant … if you will not send Frazer send Kennedy but he must be ordained by you and let him have a Wigg instead of his own hair, his being first ordained is a condition sine qua non’, 21 October 1765
