DescriptionLetter to James Gordon from Alexander Grant of Tochineal, Cullen, regarding a problem with fraud amongst the tenants for which Logie may be partly to blame, but the tenants are struggling to feed themselves, will try to get a good price for the meal, death of Buckie in April, leaving his affairs in a bad way, his eldest son is in the army and Glastirum is managing the estate, which will have to be sold, asking if Gordon would like to buy part of it, his son has had no luck in business but is inclined to go to Madeira, if so asking if the Gordons would keep him under proper discipline, nothing was settled with Buckie about the mosses and they are still abused, 19 August 1756
