Letter, William Hay, architect, to Robert Chivas, 18 King St, Toronto, 18 December 1852. Listed in NRAS survey as: 'Has sent working plans and specifications for the church; has tried to keep expenses down consistent with required accommodation and 'a proper regard to correct Ecclesiastical design of the simplest character'; there is no ornament 'but what is really useful and proper and of the most substantial character'. Total cost under £1,500, with saving of £75 - 80 by shortening the tower and giving it a pyramidal roof; sketch of the same;'
