The envelopes are numbered in Roman numerals I 1-10, II 1-10 etc.; each originally containing 10 photographs. In some cases the prints are numbered accordingly on the reverse, but in Arabic numerals.
The photographs show general scenes and inscribed stones, some published in MAMA; for example 1-4 and 1-5 show the stone MVIII.46 |
