DescriptionLetter from A. L. Bagley, Coventry, to A. R. G. Burn. Thanks Burn for the diary which he now returns. He commends his endeavours [? climbing Cruachan] in view of the terrible snow. He had gone to South Wales with some friends and had gone climbing in the hills; the snow had been so bad he wondered how Burn would fare climbing at much higher altitudes. Also discusses how Burn was lucky to have survived ?glissade and his 'treatise' on maps. He criticises standard of ordnance survey maps and inquires who person named Currie is. He also mentions climb known as 'Striding Edge' and how he would like to visit Scotland again but the trains are a problem.
