Description | Letter from Katie Scott, 139 Boulevard de la ?Plage, Arcachon, ?Ginonde, to A. R. G. Burn, undated. Notes that she did not return to Arcachon in July as she expected and that is the reason for her delay in writing to thank him for the books he sent and for remembering the eye-cure. She really wants to be able to read Gaelic and it will be much easier for her to learn it as she is returning home this month. Also discusses books she has been reading: Alice in Wonderland and Mr. Mackellar's poems, and how she will be glad to return to Scotland even though the weather will not be as nice. She is sorry to hear he did not enjoy his holiday and comments that it was nice of him to think of 'lazybones' who is working with the keeper at ?Fasnakyle. She promises to write when she gets settled at home and let him know how she is getting on with her Gaelic reading.
