Description | Address delivered at the annual general meeting of the World Medical Supporting Group, 27 March 1962. Mary Esslemont states that she has attended every meeting of the World Medical Association over the past ten years, excepting their meeting in Cuba. Stresses the importance of co-operation with the nursing profession, ancillary medical services and the pharmaceutical industry, and seeks representatives from same, to join 'our supporting group.' Discusses the value of the World Medical Association's contributions to medical education, the growing role of audio-visual teaching aids in medical training, and the need for more active promotion of the Association's work. 2 copies. |
