| Description | Marine observer reports, air observer forms, land observer and meteorological office reports including LDs, and Balfour Stewart Auroral Laboratory EP summary tables of received observations.
Observations are chiefly made from the following places: the United Kingdom, Eire, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Sweden and the Atlantic. There is also an observation of Aurora Australis on route from Fremantle in Australia to Durban in South Africa.
File includes several chalk sketches of aurora as observed from ships, drawn on black paper. |
