This album details the coverage the governor and his family received in the press during this period, including the Countess's interest in the housing aid scheme.
The photographs in the album include family and official groups as well as views of Australian scenes, domestic interiors, and photographs of Broken Hill showing mining and industrial activities.
Also personal and official letters, including from the British Legation in Washington D.C. introducing William Herbert Libby of Standard Oil, who is visiting Australia, 6 May 1892.
