Description	Copy letter from Mrs Glennie to Jean, Duchess of Gordon, requesting her to apply to the Amiralty for leave for Mrs Glennie's brother David Valentine, who is stationed in Jamaica and suffering from ill health. The request would have been made by Dr Beattie himself, but he is not well enough to write.
