Description
Received Beattie's letter of 8 September, and Williamson enquired on Thursday how many copies of the Essay were left unsold - 30 which will all be sold by the end of November. A neatly bound copy of the book will be sent to Lord Lyttelton with Beattie's letter. Dilly doubts if the Critical Review will now review the book. Brother Edward who met Beattie when he was in Aberdeen has been in the West Country
