| Description | The Edinburgh lawyer George Home W.S. was engaged by the 8th Viscount to sort and catalogue the family's historic papers. Home produced a two-volume catalogue of the Arbuthnott muniments (MS 2764/1/1/1/3) in 1822, and also transcribed and translated other important Arbuthnott documents (MS 2764/3/2/1). This section contains the original documents on which the catalogue was based, together with Home's transcripts of the title deeds and the draft and final catalogues.
