| Description | Letters from Agnes Mure Mackenzie from London and Edinburgh to her friend and former colleague Anna (Nan) Shepherd. The letters contain accounts of negotiations with publishers, criticism of the correspondents' own works and comments on other Scottish writers. 39 letters are holograph and three typewritten, all are initialled. The majority are undated and seldom bear an address or heading.
