Date | 10 February 1753 |
Extent | 1 item |
Description | Thanks Colquhoun for arranging for his son's candidature for County of Banff at next election; he has no superiorities in Banffshire except those belonging to estate of Braco of which his son is in fee 'by a strong intail' and he describes in confidence means by which 'new creation of barrens ... out of my other estate and property' is to be made so that 'rights of voteing ... be lest lyable to challenge and at the same time that the person who has the right may with greatest safety take the trust oath'. |
