Noth, alleged tutor to him, to receive said sums and also to receive as assignee to george Baird in Simmertoun 1200 merks and tack on redemption of sum, etc. lent to Sir Alex. Fraser on shadow third of Cuburtie; Wm. Cuik was also warned to compear to receive 2000 merks and tack in redemption of Urinall (with fishings).Old refs. 33 and (13). In 298/13 date is given as 10-11 Apr. Endorse as "Instrument of requisition [? or premonition] whereby Tho. Fraser in Carnebulg pror. for Andrew Fraser of Staneywood premonised Alexr. Chalmer ... & George Chalmer assigney to George Baird to receive the soumes of money written under reversions at Whitsunday 1620. Another endorsement also mentions Wm. Cuik and redemption of lands of Couburtie, Urinall, etc. in favour of "Muckall". |
