| Description | Disposition by Alexander Henderson, servitor to Master John Skene, one of the clerks of Council and Session, with consent of John Hamilton, merchant burgess of Edinburgh, to whom Robert Fraser of cairnbulg had granted an obligation dat5ed Edinburgh 22 Aug. 1616 for 1200 merks repayable at Mart. 1616, registered on 25 Nov. 1616 with letters of inhibition and horning following and assigned on 1 Aug. 1617 to Alex. Henderson, followed by process of apprising of 2 Oct. 1617 and decreet obtained by Henderson against Robert Fraser from barony of Cairnbulg, etc. for payment of £900 Sc. principal and £45 Sc. fees for apprising and infeftment granted under the Great Seal at Edinburgh on 4 Oct 1617. Sums due now paid by Andrew Fraser of Stoneywood and discharge granted in his favour and rights in Cairnbulg etc. transferred to him and infeftment is to be granted to him (unless lands are to be redeemed by Robert Fraser within seven years of apprising),By resignation or confirmation with deliverance of writs etc. Signed and witnessed at Edinburgh.Old refs.
