| Description | Incomplete [end of 10th & ? final sheet now missing] assignation or translation by Thomas Lundie of Glasgowell in favour of Balianquall of that Ilk of all lands, lordships, earldoms, regalities, baronies, @rents, feuduties, milns, wards, fishings, tiends etc. in decreet of adjudication and in so far as concerns sumsin hand & assignation (& in proportion of @rents effeiring [=appertaining] thereto) granted by the late Chas. Earl of Mar to deceased David Balianquall & in rights in decreet cognitionis causa & decreet of adjudication following and accumulated sum of £8380:6:8 Sc. (as or plus interest, alternatively yearly proportion of yearly duties etc of lands adjudged for all years while principals are unpaid. Mention of back bond of 19 jan 1691 to david Balianquall now deceased to which - ---- Balianquall of that Ilk, eldest laweull son to said David B. has right as heir served and retoured to his father and retour extracted furth of Chancery & dated 6 Mar 1699 & B. has returned backbond for cancellation & paid proportion of expenses. Breaks off in middle of procuratory of registration & ends of words at right hand margin lost through wear.
Apparently here as lands at one time belonging Lord Fraser - Stoneywood, Muchall, Cairnbulg, Innernorth etc. etc. are mentioned in decreet of adjudication as included in adjudications led at the instance of Jean McKenzie, Countess of Mar, Charles E. of Mar or John Keirie of Gogar against Charles, Lord Fraser as heir to his father the late Andrew Lord Fraser.[L. of Mar was 3rd wife & widow of Andrew, Lord Fraser].
