| Description | Dated at Edinburgh following contract on 18 September 1682. between deceased Charles, Earl of Mar and Charles, Lord Fraser; the Earl having obtained right to haill adjudications against estate of deceased Andrew, Lord Fraser except that led at instance of Thomas Fraser of Cairnbulg & his mother. Deceased Earl had granted disposition in favour of John Keirie of Gogar & Keirie a backbond to earl on 10 Jan. 1683. Charles. Lord Fraser was found to be an anterior creditor to late earl prior to disposition in favour of Keirie who was ordered to discharge Fraser of debt in contract & grant disposition in so far as lands of Cairnbulg were concerned. Fraser had ratified adjunctions etc. against Muchall & Cairnbulg & stood infeft in barony of Muchall etc. in favour of Keirie on 10 Jan 1683 & granted disposition.
