DescriptionDisposition granted at Muchall by William Barclay, "sometime tutor of Towie" following upon his ratification of disposition by his" grand nevoy", the deceased Patrick Barclay of Towie in favour of Elizabeth Barclay, daughter of said Patrick and his wife Anna Douglas, whom failing to her aunt, Anna Barclay sister of said Patrick, whom failing to return to heirs and assigns whatsoever of Patrick Barclay respecting barony of Towie etc. Now William Barclay as nearest heir male of Towie and of line of deceased now grants disposition of these lands etc. in favour of Andrew, Lord Fraser, tiend rights there in return for monetary consideration, reserving liferent rights of Dame Elizabeth Fraser, mother to Patrick Barclay, and of hhis relict Anna Douglas. Duly signed & witnessed.
