| Description | Contract signed at Muchall between Andrew, Lord Fraser, as heritable proprietor of lands concerned, and John Brebner in Backhill of Muchall, chamberlain to said Lord Fraser. In return for 3,000 merks and in security thereof Lord Fraser grants a wadset to Brebner the toun and lands of [?] Over Corskie meantime possessed by Wm. Livingstone with the brew-croft at the bridge of Bir--- possessed by John ?? Dockers in parish of Kincardine & sheriffdom of Aberdeen. Also tiendsheaves thereof. Infeftment to be granted. Infeftment to be granted, holding of Lord Fraser in feuferm ( feuduties not payable during non-redemption of principal sum), & of immediate lawful superior on same terms as Fraser himself by resignation or confirmation. Entry to be at Whit 1659 & Brebner to be allowed to uplift rents & duties etc during non-redemption. Clauses regarding reversion & redemption for 3,000 merks are included - not until after Whit 1664.
