| Description | The Frasers etc. had received from her, 1200 merks which sum she had received from Alex. Straquhan, younger of Glenkindie who bought rights of barony of Kemnay as part of the price thereof & which sum was left by Sir Thomas in his will to his sister of price of lands to be disposed of by her.Receipt of money acknowledged by Frasers & discharge granted and for security they oblige themselves to infeft Cristian and her heirs in lands of Waltertoune etc. (?) Stankings, Waltoun, Chapeltoun of Staniewood etc. in parish of St. Machar to be held of Lord Fraser or his son or their heirs etc in feuferme. Also grants rights to tiendsheaves & tiend duties etc. furth of said lands as security for wadset during non-redemption - letters of reversion to be granted accordingly by her for wadset 500 merks yearly is payable plus victual etc. Duly signed and witnessed .No old refs. |
