Forbes of Netherkinmundie who had granted obligation on 2 July 1622 & reg. on 20 July 1622, becoming cautioner & lawborrows [?] for John Forbes of Pitsligo that Fraser etc. be unmolested by John Forbes & his ...[?] under pain of 2000 merks for obedience of letters of lawborrows raised at the instance of Andrew Fraser against John Forbes of Pitsligo & his servants and others had contravened the terms of the act of caution & lawborrows against pursuer Andrew Fraser & is liable to penalty of 2,000 merks &or each contravention payable half to crown (or donator nominated) & half to Fraser.
