| Description | Extracted by Alex. Gibson, younger, od ?Durie, of registration at Edinburgh on July 25 1622, (at request of Alex. Livingstone, advocate, acting on behalf of Alex. Buchan of Auchmacoy and his sons James[? or John] and george by his wife Agnes Fraser), of a discharge granted by them respecting bond of 28 May 1615 by Simon, lord Fraser of Lovat, Andrew Fraser, elder of Stoniewood, Thomas Fraser of Strichen and other Frasers, promising infeftment to Buchans in annualrent of 1000 merks furth of lands belonging to thhe Frasers and redeemable for principal sum of 10,000 merks after Whit. 1616, annualrent thereon being 1000 merks. Buchan was now willing to receive from Andrew Fraser on behalf of all the other persons named in above bond the sum of 10,000 merks and interest, etc. , making 11,000 merks at Whitsunday 1622, and has received a bond to that effect ? due 25 July 1622 and grants discharge accordingly at Edinburgh and [?]Aberdeen on 4 and 12 Feb. 1622 . ref.
