DescriptionInstrument of resignation ad remanentiam taken by James Murray N.P., Aberdeen, at the place of Muckell on compearance of William Jerioche, servitor to Andrew Fraser of Stanewood as procurator for Wm. Cuik in Urinay & Margaret Forbes, his wife, with procuratory of resignation of said lands of Urinay with haven and white fishings etc. in barony of Phillorth & held by said Wm. Cuik immediately of Andrew Fraser as superior dated at Aberdeen 3 June 1620 & registered 12 Feb. 1621, passing into presence of Fraser & resigning binds etc into his hands ad perpetuam remanentiam whereon Andrew Fraser asked for instruments at the hand of the notary Witnesses James Baird, advocate before the Lords of Session & James Fraser, James Smythe & John Arbuthnot, servants to said Andrew Fraser.Old ref.
