DescriptionExtract by George Hay, Clerk Register, of registration at Edinburgh on that date by Henrie Spence, advocate, as procurator for William Cuik in Urinall, and Marjorie Spence, his spouse, of letter of alienation and disposition granted by them and contract made at Fraserburgh on 9 June 1603 - see 21 supra. - between Sir Alex. Fraser of Phillorth and them and charter and sasine following for 2,000 merks respecting wadset in toun etc. of Urinallwith haven and white fishings etc. in barony of Phillorth, redeemable for 2000 merks and 5 year tack.Andrew Fraser of Stoneywoof, now immediate superior of these lands had delivered to Cuik etc. a certain sum for which Cuik had given a discharge and assigned rights, etc. in Urinall, etc. to Andrew Fraser - procuratory of resignation included - so that superiority can be consolidated in his person, Fraser is also assigned right to original contract with Sir Alex. Fraser and procuratory of registration is included. Written at Aberdour on ?? June 1620 before witnesses.

"Extract registered assignation whereby William Cuik in Urinay with the consent of Marion[sic. should be Marjorie M.A.S.] Forbes, his spouse in fulfilment of a contract of 9 June 1603 with Sir Alexander Fraser of Phillorth whereby for 2,000 merks was wadsett in conjoint fee and liferent to thhe longest liver the lands of Urinay and its pertinents to be redeemed for 2000 merks and assedation for 5 years. They have now been redeemed by Anrew Fraser of Stanywod and resignation is hereby made for which William Garioche, James Fraser and Robert Ogilvy are appointed procurators. Henry Chaip, advocate, is appointed procuraor for the registration. Written by John Pettindriche, notary public in Fraserburgh. Witnesses: Andrew Forbes apparent of Boynlie, Alex. Forbes his brother germane, William Garioche anf James |Fraser servitors domestic to Andrew Fraser and lexander Forbes servitors domestic to Andrew Fraser and Alexander Forbes of Boynlie. Dated at Aberdeen 3 June 1620. Registered 12 Feb. 1621.
