Description | The Aberdeen Trades Council Unemployment Association deals with the current political issues at its time. The two volumes contained in this collection are not of the first meeting. There are references to earlier meetings leading to the conclusion that the Association had been in existence before 1934. The Association is especially focusing on the aspects relating to unemployment issues in contemporary politics. In the meetings these issues are discussed, next to which there was held a political debate. The Association also focuses on its internal organisation, like electing their committee, organising events and giving reports on the financial situation and correspondences. |
