Description1st. leaf: Essay in Latin apparently on the use of slaves in warfare with classical examples, much abbreviated. Black ink.

2nd. leaf: starts 'Comprisinge', and lists notes on comprising as a legal term. Brown ink.

3rd. leaf: alphabetical list of legal terms and their meanings, beginning 'Absentes rei publicae causa' 21 leaves, brown ink, A to W ['finis']

24th. leaf: 'Ane abridgment of the most materiall acts of Parliament selected according to the order of the Alphabet by Sir Andrew Gilmore advocat Knight and Barronet anno 1662', beginning again with the same alphabetical list as above, but in a different hand. Brown ink. 16 leaves, A to W.
