| Administrative History | Sir Philip Spencer Gregory was the youngest child of John Gregory (1795 - 1853) and Harriet Elizabeth Jean. He married Edith Annie James in 1876, with whom he had one son, John Duncan Gregory.
A barrister of Lincoln's Inn, London, he was also the author of 'Records of the family of Gregory' (London, privately published, 1886), which gives a comprehensive account of the family's history from earliest times to the late nineteenth century. |
