| Administrative History | Charles Skene (1812 - post 1857) was the second son of Charles Skene (fl. 1795 - 1839), Professor of Medicine, Marischal College, Aberdeen, 1823 - 1839. He graduated MA from Marischal College, Aberdeen, 1830, became Captain in the 79th Cameron Highlanders, and afterwards was Superintendent of the Indians in Canada.
Andrew Skene (1814 - 1846) was the third son of Charles Skene. He became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in London in 1835, was assistant surgeon to the 52nd Regiment, and died in Wales in 1846. |
