Administrative History | The Countess of Dunfermline mentioned in the letter may be the widow of James Seton, 4th Earl of Aberdeen, who was outlawed in 1690 after the Battle of Killiecrankie and died in exile at St. Germain in 1694. |
Description | Letter from Thomas Hepburn, Aberdeen, to Alexander Athnandachy, Chamberlain to the Countess of Dunfermline at Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, regarding the delivery of goods to the Countess' household from Aberdeen.
