| Description | Letters written by John Grant, Spanishtown to Charles Gordon. The first is a duplicate of original sent per 'Speedy' acknowledging letter of 1 November approving ending of business with Miles. Crop will be sold locally or consigned to Gordon care of Irvine and bond to register in chancery taken up. The second letter reports writer’s departure for St. Thomas in the vale on military duty in present perilous situation. |
