Administrative History | James Gregory (1707 - 1755) was the eldest son of James Gregory (1674 - 1733), Professor of Medicine, King's College, Aberdeen, and his wife, Anna Chalmers. He graduated M.D. from King's College, Aberdeen, in 1728 and succeeded his father to the chair of medicine there in or around 1734. On his death in 1755, he was in turn succeeded by his younger brother, John Gregory (1724 - 1773) . |
