Administrative HistoryFrom the 22nd of April to the first of July there were no sermons, prayers or readings in the church of Old Machar due to the doors being locked and retained by the heritors of church and the masters of King's College. The Privy Council ordered the keys to be handed over to the General Provost, Mr Alexander Fraser, to allow any preacher who was legally allowed to preach to use the church. The heritors and the College finally handed over the keys allowing use of the kirk from the 1st of July.
