'Rectoral Minute Book, beginning 17 April 1718'.
Insert - Small melenex sleeve with newspaper cuttings discussing 'mysterious letter' from 1707 which was delivered in 1900 but written in 1709. The letter was written by A.R. Forbes who was then Lord Rector.
Inside front cover: 'Rectoral minute book beginning 17 April 1718 [-1857, containing, inter alia Mr Middleton's Rectoral Visitation 1763 approved by Lord Deskford as Chancellor, May 10th 1763'
Pencil annotation at the bottom of the front cover 'A ''Rectorall Register" of 1706 is referred to in College Minutes, IV, pg. 30.'
