Administrative HistoryJames Mitchell graduated MA from King's College, Aberdeen, in 1719. He was licensed to preach in 1724 and ordained to the parish of Footdee in Aberdeen in 1727. He moved to the second charge at St. Machar's in 1731, and to the first charge there in 1746. He died in 1773.William Smith graduated MA from Marischal College, Aberdeen, in 1708. He was licensed in 1714, and was ordained assistant at Peterhead in 1716. He was admitted to the second charge at St. Machar's, Aberdeen, in 1717, and made an honorary burgess of Aberdeen in 1719 when he was made Master of Bishop Dunbar's Hospital. He died in 1731.
