Page 2: 'At the commencement of this month, the army was in motion, having opened in the operations, and having the success which the Commander of the Forces had gained by the capture of Salamanca'.

Page 3: 'It appears from the monthly returns that from 85 Batallions, as well as the Royal Artillery and garrisons, the total strength [is] 52,463. The admissions into the hospitals were as follow[s]. 4822 into the regimental hospitals, being 391 less than last month; 1135 into the general hospitals (independently of transfers), 532 less than last month; 5957, total admissions, or actual occurrence of disease in the month'.
