A printed cutting pasted into the volume reads: 'The Widows' Fund, left by Mrs. Dr. Cadenhead for the benefit of the Society, amounts to £1001, of which £145 is invested at 3 [and a half] per cent in City Corporation Bonds, and £856 is lent at 4 per cent to the Aberdeen Harbour Commissioners'. The balance of the interest, after deducting the Clerk's fee, amounted to £37 6s. 1d., and was divided between two individuals.
