Statement of account of the benevolent fund, 1862-87 (p.1), the building fund, 1862-88 (p.22), the Clerk and Librarian's fund, 1862-88 (p.44), the current account with the Banking Company in Aberdeen [later referred to as the Union Bank of Scotland], 1862-85 (p.66), abstract of balances, 1863-87 (p.94), investments [includes note of such things as cash lent on mortgage to Aberdeen Town Council], 1887 (p.100), and Mrs. Cadenhead's Widows Fund, 1877-85 (p.116). A printed cutting pasted into the volume reads: 'The Widows' Fund, left by Mrs. Dr. Cadenhead for the benefit of the Society, amounts to £1001, of which £145 is invested at 3 [and a half] per cent in City Corporation Bonds, and £856 is lent at 4 per cent to the Aberdeen Harbour Commissioners'. The balance of the interest, after deducting the Clerk's fee, amounted to £37 6s. 1d., and was divided between two individuals. There is also a statement of the account of Strachan's Bequest, 1887 (p.136).
