| Description | Minutes of the Aberdeen Medico-Chirurgical Society (typescript), including correspondence, photocopies of legal documents relating to the sale of 29 King Street, papers relating to the official opening of the Society's new hall on the Foresterhill site on the 9 April 1973 and the reports of Council, the Treasurer and the Librarian presented at Annual Business meetings. Contents include:
19 February 1973: Special meeting of Council to discuss the postgraduate role of the Society in its new premises on the Foresterhill site.
22 October 1973: Special meeting of Council to discuss terms of lease of new premises.
7 March 1974: Council meeting. Letter from Paull & Williamsons, Advocates regarding the lease of the hall from the University is enclosed together with a draft of the Minute of Lease.
27 June 1974: Extraordinary meeting of Council to discuss Shorthouse Bequest.
6 February 1975: Council meeting. Inventory of contents of the hall enclosed.
5 June 1975: Council meeting. Notice of Symposium on Environmental Health held on the 17 May, with programme enclosed.
4 March 1976: Society meeting. Talk delivered by Lord Dunpark: 'Some Aspects of Medico-Legal Liability'.
24 June 1976: Extraordinary meeting of Council held to discuss Shorthouse Bequest and other charitable funds. |
